I waited for the rhythm of my footsteps to echo, but it never did.

Home

agony and ivory

August 1, 2007

she is a woman of about 35 to 40. She wears an old over-sized shirt, and a jersey shorts that may belong to her husband. One look and you know she is a mother from a family of under the poverty line. One look and you know that she's bothered; tired, yet shes trying to build her courage.

Her footsteps are like of the insane. she walk aimlessly, slowly toward the glass doors. An unfriendly look of a man on whtie and blue seize her movement, but  then, collecting her courage, she continue passing through the now-opened glass doors.

And from there, she found herself both happy and desperate. Her eyes gleam as she walk on the aisle of the long line of toys. And maybe those gleaming are dreams for her children. Yes, dreaming that her children are playing, happy and satisfied with those colorful stuffs.

And yet, that is not the reason shes walking inside that huge establishment. Right now, she has a different dream.

The staccato of her steps became of a rapid rhythm of adrenaline and desperation as she saw, from a corner her target. She strech her hands to reach for that rectangular box. And finally, she have it.

A smile runs across her face as the box vanished, hidden into her old baggy shirts. She walks so confident yet so silent and innocent. Now just few more steps and shes free. Few more steps and her baby would be happy.

As she pass through the same glass doors, an unfamiliar hand grab her on her waist. And that was the hand she wishes never to reach her. The hand become two and reach for something on her old baggy shirts. And found the box the woman treasures.

But she cannot surrender the box. Her child needs it. With no other choice. She fight her way against the rough hands and run as fast as she could. No matter where. No matter how far. But very unfortunate, men on the white and blue uniform run after her. Determined and powerful. Unlike her sprint that is weak and undecided.

Her steps are confused. Her steps are unfaithful to her own decisons. Asiding her fears, she run across the road where vehicles meet and cross. Yes, across that road where no people are invited and boxes with wheels dominate. But she knows better, the other side of the road is salvation and comfort, and the only way back to her children.

But then, life is not fair..She is unwelcomed on the property of the raging wheeled vehicles.

Blood came running through the roads. Carried by the furious wheels.

And the dream of the toys and the milk was carried away, along with the blood and human flesh. The dream remained a dream. And the milk became blood.

The writer is a Child

July 18, 2007

I

I am not a writer

A writer writes because he has the courage to do so.

I write because Im trying to find where my courage is.

II

NOEMI: ixian, you are not qualified to write a LOVE STORY! Coz you've never been inlove!

III

Torch: To write is already to Choose.

IV.

An eye for an eye. A pen for a pen.

V.

Ms Leyble: Hindi ginagawa ang pagsusulat at pag-eedit ng Sabay

VI.

Sophies: Kuya bakit hindi ka po nagwriter? diba writer ka dati?

VII.

It is with thousand of times that I try to write a story, express an opinion, unfold my emotion.

everytime I try to coin a story, and build a plot, I fail. I fall.

VIII.

I see the world in all full color…but feel it with no color.

IX.

I am not a writer. Coz a writer all of  the time is responsible for what he/ she writes.

Every word he writes, an addition to his philosophy.

Every word he writes, is an act to exercise.

X.

I am not a writer.

Coz I do not have the virtues of a writer.

D.R.

Christian would like to thank his great cousins, Tito and Tita for all the help they provide in order for our family, our clan to survive the series of problems we have encountered.

SALAMAT PO. >"<

Without your support I may not be where I am right right now (kunwari may narating na ko)

It is indeed with great blessing that I become a part of the Delos Reyes Clan (oha!oha!oha!). And I would forever be thankful for that. And when the time comes that I would be needed to support the Family, I will! with all I have, swear to comply and be responsible.

My DNA is genetically determined to serve our Family!

I do wish…..na sana magpahinga nmn kayo minsan diba? baka magkasakit po kayo jan? Ha?

I dont care whether or not you would be able to provide constant support for the family..My concern is your health and quality time for your own lives.

GODBLESS po.

For: Tito Ed, Tita Jerome, Ate Lot, Kuya Ace, Kuya Jay.

Happy birthday po tito Ed.

the research dilemma

July 11, 2007

im having a hard time looking for possible reserches in biology….

And its not because there is a shortage of ideas; rather a shortage of necessary materials needed to support the ideal topics.

I dont want to do the usual "dikdik-piga" method of researching…

At dahil jan: christian is now open for suggestions from people around. wahaha. bitter.

Memoirs of 3210

July 5, 2007

it was the night the heavens cried…

and it was the fourth time I lost my cellphone.

hindi ko alam kung panu nawala..all I know is that Im stranded in a waiting shed with a group of unfamiliar faces also waiting for the rain to stop…at dahil nag astral projection nanaman ang kamalayan ko..ayun nawala sa isip ko na ung bagh ko ay unprotected…

huhuhu (hiccups)..I feel so sad for the snatcher, feeling ko nadisappoint xa after ng mga ilang minuto ng pagsisikap niyang makuha un fone ko sa bag….

maibebenta nya pa kaya un? (kung oo ang sagot mo- just txt 'oo' to 2366 at my chance kang manalo ng 5210(corny)

pero nun araw, I really felt so sad, tumagal din ng mga limang segundo bago ko natutuhang ngumiti…at nag-astral projection nanaman ang utak ko…

even though I do not feel that sad, I still feel so empty. This is the 4th time that I lost a valuable thing. Yeah, it may only be just a poor 3210, but my parents handed it to me with the hope that I would appreciate and take good care of the things that they try to make for us.

And I guess that incident really reflects my attitude toward valuable materials given to me…huhuhuhu (background music: Ironic by Alanis) huhu (hiccup)..(until fade)
